A Brief, Rather Surly Update
If you don't tell people what you want, they'll pick for you what THEY want. Then you are completely at the mercy of other people, which will breed resentment. There's nothing saintly or gracious about letting other people run your life because you're afraid of making decisions or paralyzed by choice.

Amen to that.
and all God's people say....AMEN. lol
I love my Xangan friends, but this seems to be a re-occuring theme for many of us, myself most definitely included! Didn't want to post something longer at the moment...trust me, the alternative was how Paul's teachings on communion and marital sex share symbolism (talk about scary coincidence!).
I can relate too well. Hope it works out for you.
@GreekPhysique - That alternative sounds interesting.
Thank the good lord I've got plenty of purpose, then!
Yee-haw.
Lol...Give that option to children. Its their grandmothers birthday and you ask them what they want to get her for her birthday. They'll choose what THEY want because come on. If I like the pink barbie, they'll for sure will want it also. :) Children are sweet
I want oranges.....

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Wise Words!
That's right! We really have more power and control than we realize.

...something I wanted to share, though, I hope you don't mind it.
As much trouble as I have making decisions, this is the thought that continues to remind me that I need to make decisions no matter how hard they are. Good thought!
Same thing goes for birthday presents. :D
Ouch.
amen, so true. funny how people (myself included at times) tend to forget this simple fact.
