Gus, sweetie - I loved your post. sooooo good!!! you don't have a right to ask that of him, but he has the right to have the choice. you also need to ask for forgiveness and reconcile and apologize without the expectation of things changing between you. if you can go to him with the intention of fixing things and then allowing him to walk away without it crushing you, then do it.the bible says to if at all possible, to be at peace with all people. time has passed enough for you to be able to go to him and repent. it's about repentance and dealing with what occurred while allowing him do what he will with your attempt at reconciliation.

dont make it about retreiving lost love, make it about walking in love and repentance with someone you love and have hurt. I say pray and ask God to show you if He would have you do this now - He'll answer you and when He does, be obedient to what he says.
