  • To my Forehead Friend

Ok, so someone asked me for advice, and then disappeared and shut down their site. WAAAH! So my funny friend, here is the advice I would have sent if your site was still up.

"First--I will be happy to be a friend to you as much as I can, and recommend other people. But yeah, not the same as a real friend, I know Still, Xanga can be a decent place to make friends.
I'm still laughing about the Forehead title! That's too cute.

Ok, seriously, my friend...I know it must be hell to be at home right now. It would kill me to watch my mom be falling apart like that. But I really worry about you out on your own without a family nearby. I just worry that somehow you'll end up not being able to return to your family, but without anyone else to take care of you. At your young age, without a license or graduation, you would have few options to go elsewhere.

Can you grit your teeth for just 6 more months? Can you? I know it's asking a lot. I'm so sorry you're lonely. But maybe you can go to another church? Or try a library that has reading programs for teens? Or try a coffee shop where they have free concerts, where teens might gather?

There are some nice teens here who I can recommend. There are some nice men and women here as well. But I know, real life would be better, right? Well let me know if I can help further. I don't have many answers. But God does. And he cares about you. and I think that there may be a way out of this yet."

So, my anonymous Xanga friend, hope this helps, and contact me again if necessary. Good luck!
