With no commentary, except to say that my feelings on this fluctuate over time, and it might offend you.
"Inventory" is Down, and I am Pleased", my take on how I felt about some of my female friends getting dates. I have to admit, I'm even more militant in this area than ever. I'm no longer going to spend lengthy periods of time wondering if I should be dating someone or not. It does neither me nor them a service. Am I wrong?

Flashback: January 2006, "Better, not Bitter"
I decided to start digging around in my archives, as I'm too busy for a new post. Here is a post titled "Better, not Bitter", which touched on a frequent annoyance of mine. If I were marketing myself, no one would buy; I have a habit of downplaying my good habits and experiences. Read the entry from January 2006 here.

Dead Xangan Beauty Contest
We had a good time on XangaTV tonight, and the beauty contests on Xanga recently was one of the topics. Although I am concerned at the potential for stalking, I get that it's supposed to be a fun contest where the ugly get to ogle some beauty. (Although stay tuned for a post from me about coveting, heh.). I didn't want to suggest any Xangans for the contest that are on Xanga today. I was worried they might get stalked somehow, or someone would start speaking to them in an inappropriate way. But as for ex-Xangans? That's what they get for quitting :-p
So with that said, here's 7 "Dead Xangans" who should have been a part of the Xangan beauty contests if they still were here. It's too bad you didn't meet them when they were posting on here regularly. And as you'd expect from me, they're all SFW, and people who were great writers and gracious in addition to being beautiful.

Archives, July-December 2005
I have decided that I no longer want to leave up posts that I posted years ago. I don't like the idea of leaving the posts up indefinitely as a representative of myself, and besides no one ever reads my archives anyway. I thus will be featuring my most interesting writings one last time before locking them up in the vault, forever, along with my hair clippings when I was 2 and my first lost tooth (thanks Mom!). To read all of my archives for 2005, just look at my weblog archives (left-hand side of the page, way down).
Again, just letting you know, this is more a project for me than for you, but you are certainly free to read the posts and comment!
July 2005:
Ways to be an Evil Xangan, plus Xanga quizzes. See, I was posting about Xanga before it was cool! Um, err, wait, it was cool once to post on Xanga about Xanga, right? RIGHT?! http://weblog.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/313169468/item.html
Do you really want to be pretty? Perhaps my best Xanga post ever, which admittedly may not be saying much. http://weblog.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/299977303/item.html

It's a weak link post, but the topic is too important. If you postpone marriage, what are you losing out on? Take a look here: http://weblog.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/335879424/item.html , the comments are interesting. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll remember I wrote this at 25, not 28, and commit hari kari.

Archives, January-June 2005
I have decided that I no longer want to leave up posts that I posted years ago. I don't like the idea of leaving the posts up indefinitely as a representative of myself, and besides no one ever reads my archives anyway. Ok new folks, so just in case you're wondering, no, I'm not one of those guys who posts every day. I push out about two posts a week, except when I get really excited about a topic and have tons of time. That's not going to be the case this summer. But one thing I am trying to do is go through old Xanga posts and get some closure before putting them away. It's fascinating looking back at my old work (yes, very humble of me to be obsessed with me, ha, feel free to tease me about that). Join me, if you wish, but to be honest, I'm doing this more for me than for you.

Archives, January-May 2004
I have decided that I no longer want to leave up posts that I posted years ago. Since many of you have finals anyway, this is a good use of my time and yours. I will get to the girl with skills and nice guy post in the next few days, promise.
My Site Introduction. Uh-oh, I may have broken rules 1 and 3 in the past year. http://www.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/91845588/item.html
It took me only about a month to confess my crush on Jo in Little Women and my everlasting respect for the Bronte sisters. I feel my testosterone levels plummeting as I type this recap. http://weblog.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/96461370/item.html
I talk about my changing gifts (or lack there of), and quickly delve into my interest in teenagers and people with eating disorders. I find my interest in those two categories a little disturbing in retrospect. I was only 24! It was all youthful indiscretion! ha. http://weblog.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/100648109/item.html
Stereotyping people according to their talents and gifts is usually unwise according to this post. Good thing I never did that since then--um, who wrote this Girls With Skills post on my blog? (whistles, looks nervous) http://www.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/103793276/item.html
It only looks like I'm packing up my site and getting ready to shut things down, right? Ok, good, that's what I keep trying to tell myself...
