Way-Back Machine: GP on Confidence
Several people have been mentioning the role of confidence in male-female relationships in commenting on the article I was discussing. Here http://www.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/123758071/item.html is my initial post n what makes for confidence, plus a take-down on Ross from Friends because of his confidence issues http://www.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/131225611/item.html .

I'd have to agree with you on the confidence thing.
That, dear GP, is a first, I do believe.
Galumph, about time. I really have to find a way to build a hater-proof fence for this site. :-p Between you, catechufem, and feverorforgottenwings, I stay pretty balanced, ego-wise.
I think that those are some interesting points that you made on confidence. Although, first of all, I have to make note of your "nice guy" comment. You know, I was actually talking to one of my guy friends this evening about the whole "girls go for the bad boy" thing. I mean, it can be true. I've seen it happen. Think of "Star Wars" for example (just because I saw it recently) the princess goes for Han Solo (the over-confident, bad boy). However, there are girls who prefer the "nice guy." My friend was frustrated because he thinks that that's all girls generally want to be with him is friends. However, I honestly feel that his niceness is one of the most attractive things about him.
