Seminary With Out Walls #1
A friend of mine told me about this idea of doing short Bible devotions with family and friends who are far apart via e-mail. I decided to give it a try, and my video effort is below. The verses are Galatians 6:1-2. I might use a script next time; this rambled a bit. Anything over 2 minutes for such talks is too long. Take a look!

RYC: Hey, if reading my favorite Xanga blogs has taught me anything, it's that two Christians can both be completely correct and still disagree with one another. It's all good.
I guess what it comes down to, for me at least, is that we all need more of God -- which is so blatantly obvious I didn't say it, but it's true. Especially when it comes to judgment. I'm not saying we oughtn't to judge at all; merely that, before we do, we would all be wise to send a quick prayer to God asking that His will be done, and that we be open to whatever that may be. If anything, the Church should be more judgmental, with this second, Godly discernment, and less with our own human wisdom.
I definitely agree with you though... I think the world has so cowed the Church into submission that many people are afraid even to judge with God's wisdom, for fear of being seen as weird, holier-than-thou, and cruel. When we say, "Only Jesus can get you into Heaven," what the world hears (unless God opens their ears and softens their hearts) is, "I want everyone else to go to Hell." And that is why Godly discernment is so important; because it's HE who prepares the soil; we merely sow the seeds.
Also... the sound on the video is very muffled on my computer. Could just be my speakers though, but I could hardly understand a word of it after about 19 seconds.
GW, try replaying the video; sometimes it sounds poor on the first viewing (because it's not fully-loaded) and then sounds better on a second view. Folks, let me know if you are also having troubles with the video.
stay away from me photo's lad.
HA! just messing, good verse
Amazing insight and "witty invention" to make SWOW-videos. Appreciate your insight about the "walking wounded" perception of us..as human beings. To "love GOD w/all our heart soul mind and strength and our neighbor as ourself" is not a debatable "sport"..it's our marching-orders from the CAPTAIN HIMSELF..(CHRIST) and the summary of the 66 Books of The Bible. Thanks again for your 2 min, video SWOW!
AWESOME!!! a topic that i think is so underachieved among believers, we get so selfish with our time, and emotions...keeping it all for ourselves. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and body, and the second is like it LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself. Great job!! Im sorry it took me so long to get around to it. I got back from Greece, and then went right to New Orleans for all star, and finally getting to check it out now. My family also commented to me that they liked it!!
Hope theres more to come! It was a bit quiet, I had to strain a bit to hear, but may be my own computers fault. Take care and God bless! O Theos mazi sou!!
