UPDATE: Xanga TV Festival
Hi folks. So I was thinking, next Saturday (31st) would be the perfect time to have a Xanga TV festival! After all, many of you will already be dressed in costumes for Halloween. And it would be the perfect way to close a month of guest posts. So here's what I'm looking for. If you have a webcam, and you want to participate, send me a message. I'll compile all the responses and then see what technology we need to use. We can use Xanga TV or a different site, depending on the need. Let me know if you are in!
DETAILS: Halloween, 10PM EST, here on my site. We will be using TokBox, which allows multiple cams at once. Bring your webcam and a costume!

http://www.tokbox.com has free multi-user webcam chat... and can be embedded where needed (a header, perhaps?)
Interesting idea. As per twitter discussions earlier, I wouldn't suggest Tinychat.
@theacematt2 - I've used tokbox, seems okay to me. However, I would suggest the embed be done in a post, that way it can be rec'd.
aww i won't be home on halloween! =(
@MagisterTom - truth. post would be better idea, though the width on my page is restricting (due to the columns on the sides)

@theacematt2 - Agreed, for reasons discussed with @MagisterTom , I dislike tinychat. Does Tokbox feature audio as well? We could chat via a chatroom somewhere, separate from the embedded TokBox. I should ask Nick about this.

No webcam at home and wedding that night so.... stink. I'll be sure to check out highlights though!

I don't have a costume (I never "celebrate" Halloween), but I definitely have a webcam and want to join in the fun.

@JustPlainMorgie - Same here. We can join in on our crappy webcams together. LOL.
If I'm over my cold, I'm in! But I work at 11 PM, so it'll have to be before that.

Oh! I'm so confused! I know I commented. I said, "Darn. We're taking the girls trick-or-treating." And something about 9:30 EST being 8:30 here. Well, if it's at a time when we're home, I'd be happy to, if I can find the webcam...
